I am an educational consultant and teaching coach with a Masters in Education, and I am certified by the state of CT in grades K-12. I specialize in the use of art as the foundation for learning. Specifically, I guide students through the creative process of taking in the world around them, processing what they see and understand, and finally generating art and writing as a way to communicate. This approach to learning, Visual Literacy, not only greatly improves observational skills and vocabulary, but gives students a path to successful engagement in their communities.
